Melissi Digital Language Lab latest version: 4.2.4.x, compatible with Win7 32/64-bit. |
 This latest update includes major changes to the subtitling module, including SRT file generation and improved RTF file output for marking.
Melissi installer updates and patch files are provided FREE to current users. The latest (udp230412.zip) was posted on 23rd April 2012. Get it from our technical server here:

New Feature: SRT file generator - Mar. 2012
Our popular subtitling module can now output SRT files, which can be played in a variety of external players. This means that staff or students can send their work to people who do not have Melissi and they can glory in the wonderfulness of it! Other formats like SSA coming soon.
New Feature: the Melissi Central User System - Mar. 2012
Melissi class setups can now be created on a Central User system. With class group setups defined centrally, there's no need for local installations! This is a free upgrade for Technical Support License. holders. For more details go here:

Microsoft Virus Warning - Jan. 2012
Warning: a very malicious PC virus/trojan is doing the rounds: It disables .exe files and then masquerades as a Microsoft security sweep offering to clean the programs up. DO NOT CLICK on the dialogue box! Talk to your ICT Manager.
We recommend that you install Malware Bytes security software on your home PC/laptop before you have a problem. We use the registered version at Melissi, but a free version is also available here:
