Full Wireless Support Melissi is now fully compatible with your wired and wireless networks, enabling you to set up remote classes with students in other parts of the campus. If it's on the network - PC, laptop, netbook - its in the Melissi Classroom. |

Open Sessions You can now open your classroom to non-registered 'guest' users. Just publish your session (add a password if you wish) and away you go. For more details, go to our website at http://www.melissi.co.uk |

Updated user interface The media controller has been radically re-designed to make it simpler and more intuitive. Lovers of the classic blue bars at the bottom of the student screen (and we love them too) can switch back to the previous interface if they wish. |

Roaming The standard Melissi Digital Classroom licence enables you to install the Student Programme onto 40 machines for each Staff Programme that you're licensed for. Our 'roaming' site licence allows the flexibility to add the Student Programme to any and every machine on your site (formally part of our 'Campus & Home' licence). Classroom sessions are still limited to 40 simultaneous students, but with roaming - coupled with our wireless capability and Open Sessions - your students can be anywhere on the network: in the library, outside, in the refectory, or even in your classroom! |

Melissi Interpreting suite emulator Want to teach interpreting, but can't afford a dedicated, hard-wired interpreting suite? This very powerful emulator will turn your Melissi lab into an interpreting suite. The system allows for a speaker to be interpreted on many channels into many target languages, and also makes it possible to perform relay interpreting. Sessions may be recorded.
